Gene SullenbergerGene Sullenberger

A native Virginian, Gene began his career in the insulation industry working as an installer during high school and college.  After graduating from Virginia Tech in 1976 with a degree in Business Administration, he located in Charlottesville and has been servicing the insulation needs of Central Virginia, the Piedmont and Shenandoah Valley with a smile on his face and a song in his heart ever since.  Recognized for his technical expertise by builders and architects alike, Gene has been involved in the specification and execution of thousands of insulation projects over the course of his 40 years in the industry.

Gina SullenbergerGina Sullenberger

Along with Gene, Gina joined the insulation industry immediately after graduating from Virginia Tech in 1977.  Although well versed and active in all aspects of the business, Gina’s main focus at Weatherseal is accounting and financial management.  She represents Weatherseal on a national level with a variety of trade organizations.

 

James SullenbergerJames Sullenberger

Born to parents who share a passion for energy conservation, James has been learning about insulation and running a contracting business his whole life.  So after graduation from Virginia Tech in 2007 with degrees in Business Administration and Real Estate, it was a natural progression for him to join the company.  Today he is a vital contributor as an estimator, Building Analyst and operations manager for the Weatherseal Insulation foam division.

Brian ZelaskiBrian Zelaski

A 1999 graduate of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in both Environmental Studies and Geology, Brian moved to Central Virginia in 2000 and joined the Weatherseal team. Since that time he has filled a variety of positions including the management of a satellite branch.  He holds a Building Analyst certificate and is well versed in all aspects of the company, with a special emphasis on new construction. Brian has also been instrumental in expanding Weatherseal’s product line to include gutters.

Michael HastingsMichael Hastings

A native of Indiana, Michael graduated from Ball State University in 2006 with a degree in Environmental Design.  He then went to work for the Indiana weatherization Program where he specialized in the insulation of older homes.  After moving to Central Virginia, Michael taught classes in duct design and maintenance as well as energy auditing through Piedmont Virginia Community College.  As a Building Analyst certified by the Building Performance Institute, Michael’s expertise in home performance assures that Weatherseal’s work meets the highest standards.

Frank “Parky” Parkinson

Born and raised in Virginia, Parky started working in the insulation industry in 1975.  During his career he has worked in a number of capacities specializing in the retrofitting of existing homes.  For 12 years, Parky was a senior technical representative for US Greenfiber, a national cellulose insulation manufacturer.  His knowledge of insulation equipment and best practices for installation are an invaluable contribution to Weatherseal.

 

Kevin MooreKevin Moore

Kevin studied Finance and Real Estate at Virginia Tech & Old Dominion University. Kevin then entered the construction industry in 2004, where he worked as a field superintendent, building new homes in the Fredericksburg, Charlottesville, and Shenandoah Valley areas. As the market turned, Kevin moved into the environmental construction field. Kevin has completed the IAQA CMRS Certification, IICRC S520 Certification, & IICRC S500 Certification. Kevin currently holds a VA State Asbestos Abatement Supervisor License, VA State Lead Abatement Supervisor License & is a BPI Certified Building Analyst. Additionally, Kevin has developed a strong passion for all things related to media blasting, and is recognized by many of the areas most respected construction professionals as the "go-to" authority in our area on all things pertaining to the media blasting field. Kevin currently resides in Ivy with his wife Amy, and their daughter, Harper.
